Hello all.
I have recently bought a 795sqft home w/ hydraunic heat embedded in the concrete basement floor. I am wondering the steps to take to add to my existing system. As of right now it is a closed system running off one 1500w (5gal) tank, one pump, and a 1" SS manifold w/ four loops.
The total area to heat in the upstairs is approx 700sqft.
I imagine I need at least a 3000watt tank on a 240 breaker?
Do I need an 8 loop manifold? Or a 6 loop manifold?
Is is it ok to run the pex against the floor in between and through 1" holes through the joists.
Is it possible to "add a loop" to the existing system?
Thanks for for the help.
