I am working on a kitchen renovation project. The kitchen is about 20' by 10' and the floor will be completely stripped down to the sub floor. The owner would like to remove the old iron radiator in the kitchen. The boiler system will be kept for other radiators in the house.
Could anyone tell me -
1) If the heating pipes are already in the kitchen, would it be more cost effective to have an above floor hydronic system than the electric version? 2) If I were to install an above floor hydronic system, do need a manifold? As a rule of thumb, what is the maximum length you can have in one circuit?
Thank you
