I posted this twice as I received an error message while attempting to post. If it shows I apologize for the double posting.
My wife and I just had a home built 1 1/2 months ago and the WarmWire system was installed in the Master Bath by the tile guy and an electrician hooked it up to the SunStat Pro Thermostat. I didn't check it immediately because it has been so hot here in Missouri but about two weeks ago I tried to turn it on and the display was blank. It took me a couple weeks to find the empty box the T-stat came in which had the Owner's Manual in it. I am not an electrician but I am very knowledgeable about electronics so I removed the front module and the power module to check the wiring. It looked correct so I placed the front module back on the power module and the display began to work. I set the Date/Time and the Floor Limit to 82 degrees. The floor has a sub-floor with tile on top. The tile guy said he has installed several of these and I don't think he used any relays. He suggested that we use a licensed electrician to install the T-Stat which we did. I know this is a dedicated circuit.
When we turned the switch to ON I heard a click and the red GFCI light was on. I reset it and it clicked again. I did notice that the "Heat" showed up on the display for an instant before the GFCI cut it off. The floor temp showed 73 degrees and said "Floor". When the Program Schedule went to cycle 2 I reset the GFCI and it stayed ON but as soon as the heat was called for the GFCI clicked OFF.
Is there anything I can do to check to see if it is the T-Stat or a botched WarmWire installation?
I have included a photo of the T-Stat.
Thanks for your help.
