still learning how to do this proboard. Can't get Radiant Pro software to open on my Windows 7, 64 bit laptop. Need help

Does it give you any error messages? Does the splash screen come up, but nothing happens? Does it just lock up?

Christopher: software never opens, no matter what I right click or try to open. I've deleted the program and reloaded a new version, but still have the same non-action.

Is this the newest version downloaded from the website? When you install it, does it do anything odd, or appear to install perfectly fine?

Well, I deleted last copy and downloaded again, this time after doing all recommended Windows updates. Download appeared OK, first attempt was interrupted somehow, so I did it again. On trying to open (clicking on downloaded file, it asked to be Unzipped, did so to a new folder. After that, a brief screen pops up every time I try to open, saying "Radiant...exe has stopped working" "Windows is checking for a solution" and then screen disappears. I've asked Mark for a disc, to see if that will work.
