I have a client in NYC asking me to install electric radiant (Heatweave) in their walk-in shower bathroom. The shower is, for all intents, the bathroom. No doors, just shower heads at one side of the bath. Can the Heatweave product be installed under tile, in a shower AND meet code? If so, I will need it in writing to present to the architects.
Thanks! Russell

What's the point in having this forum if you don't plan to answer questions about your product?

Yes, the HeatWeave mat and WarmWire system can both be installed in a tiled shower. The installation manual has a few pages that cover this, so the architect can pull their information directly from there. I am sorry about the delay; we've had some technical difficulties lately getting back on here.

My tile installer is having a problem with the concept of warm wire in the shower. He can see the installation videos, problem is that doesn't know anyone who has ever used this method. We are in the Boston / Saugus area, and it would be nice if I could put him in contact with someone with real experience actually using warm wire under tiles in the shower.
He is definitely considering the worse case scenarios during his installation, and is worried about all the unforseen things that can go wrong.
Thanks
