Looking at using SlabHeat cable to heat an 800 sf garage with a 4" concrete slab using 2" foam below. Builder will use 6" square mesh where I expect to tie the wires per our layout. My question is can the wire be walked on by the concrete workers during the pouring stage without being damaged? Or do I have to protect it with a 'floating' deck that we pull out as they level the concrete? Also, do they need to place 'tables' to support the mesh/wire at the correct depth, or can they just pull up the mesh as they go like normal?
